An expanded homeless camping site on the corner of Fifth and A streets is now open in Grants Pass.

Grants Pass is a few steps closer to getting a court injunction lifted in a homelessness lawsuit, but the moves are generating anger and frustration among residents and business owners near an expanded camping site by City Hall.

Workers finished setting up fencing, dumpsters and portable toilets on a paved city employee parking lot, allowing the site to open for homeless camping this week. Read More »
