An examination of North Medford gymnasium support beams that collapsed in February showed glue had bonded poorly at joints where the wood pieces came together.

Wooden beams that were glued together in the 1960s came apart, triggering the collapse of the North Medford High School gym roof under a load of snow in February, according to an independent evaluation released Thursday night.
