With the bases loaded and the score tied 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning, North Valley's Landon Allison is hit by a pitch to force in the winning run against Brookings-Harbor. The Knights would complete a doubleheader sweep of the visiting Bruins.

Fourth-ranked North Valley swept a District 7 baseball doubleheader from Brookings-Harbor, winning the opener 4-3 on a walk-off hit-by-pitch.
The Knights finished the sweep and moved into sole possession of second place in the league with a 6-4 win in the nightcap.
North Valley (12-7, 7-2) trailed the Bruins 3-2 heading into the seventh inning of the opener.

A 32-year-old man too intoxicated to take care of himself was arrested on suspicion of fentanyl possession at 8:22 a.m. Saturday in Baker Park. He was jailed and issued a 30-day exclusion order from the park.
Mark Reppert will lead the Siskiyou Singers in a celebration of nature with "Earth Song," a spring concert exploring the beauty of the planet — and admonitions to protect it — through music.
