The future of Pipe Fork, a 320-acre tract of county-owned forestland south of Williams, is still up in the air after the Josephine County Board of Commissioners on Wednesday pushed any decision on the sale of the property to next Tuesday.

The North Medford boys pummeled South Medford 90-54 in a Southwest Conference dual track and field meet between rivals Wednesday at Bowerman Field in Medford.
But the Panthers managed a split when their girls rolled over the Black Tornado, 86-58.
Antonio Martinez was a double winner for the North Medford boys. He won the 100-meter dash in 11.23 seconds and claimed the 200 in 22.63.

A burglary in the Central Point area led to the arrest of two people Wednesday on drug and weapons charges.
The Jackson County sheriff's office said a burglary Tuesday in the 5700 block of Upton Road led investigators the next day to a residence on Laurelhurst Street, also in rural Central Point.
Deputies obtained a search warrant for the Laurelhurst Street property and took a woman into custody there as well as a man found hiding under a shed.
