ConocoPhillips is an international integrated energy company. In 2008, it produced 755,000 barrels per day of oil and 4.8 million cubic feet a day of natural gas, primarily from the U.S., Canada, Norway, and the U.K. Proven reserves at year-end stood at 6.8 billion barrels of oil equivalent (plus 3.2 billion for equity affiliates), 49% of which are natural gas. With refining capacity of 2 million barrels of oil a day, it's the second-largest refinery operator in the U.S.
