Entergy is an integrated energy company with three primary businesses. Its regulated utility distributes power to 2.6 million customers and gas to 240,000 customers across four states. Its nonutility nuclear division sells its 5,000 megawatts of nuclear capacity into the Northeast and Midwest markets and is taking steps toward becoming a separate entity from its parent company. Its energy commodity services division generates and sells nonnuclear wholesale power.
