Kimball International has two business segments, furniture manufacturing and electronic manufacturing services, each of which account for roughly half of sales. The company recently consolidated its furniture business and now manufactures office and hospitality furniture exclusively. In the EMS segment, Kimball manufactures and distributes electronics globally for its customers in the automotive, industrial, public safety, and health-care industries.
