With roughly $100 billion in assets and 1,000 branches, Ohio-based KeyCorp's community bank footprint spans 14 states. The Great Lakes and Northeast regions each have about one third of core deposits, the balance being split between the Northwest and Rockies regions. General commercial and commercial real estate loans are Key's largest portfolios, with about 35% and 20% of the $70 billion total, respectively. Of the latter, half is split between the West and Midwest states.
