Taseko Mines Limited owns gold and copper mines in British Columbia. The company owns a copper mine, and two properties where gold has been discovered. The Gibraltar Mine, which is in the process of being restarted, produced 80 million pounds of copper and 700,000 pounds of molybdenum annually before it was shut down because of depressed copper prices. It also owns the Prosperity project, which contains approximately 2.3 billion pounds of copper and 6.7 million ounces of gold; and the Harmony property with an estimated 3 million ounces of gold.
