NEW YORK (AP) -- The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 5.2 earthquake has struck off the eastern Philippines.

The U.S.G.S. reported that the quake hit at 4:33 a.m. local time Sunday (2033 GMT) at a depth of 8.5 kilometers (5.3 miles). Its epicenter was about 120 kilometers (75 miles) northeast of San Isidro.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
