Moss scores 24 points, grabs 11 rebounds to lead Buffalo over Niagara 88-62


BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- Justin Moss had 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead Buffalo to an 88-62 victory over Niagara on Friday night.

Shannon Evans scored 20 points and dished out eight assists for Buffalo, which shot 27 of 54 from the field for 50 percent. Jarryn Skeete had 17 points and Xavier Ford added 11 points and 13 boards for the Bulls (7-2).

Buffalo led 38-28 at the break, and used a 16-6 run, capped by Moss's seven-straight points, to make it 54-34 with 13:39 to play. Skeete's 3-pointer gave the Bulls a 30-point lead with 4:05 left.

Emile Blackman scored 15 points and Wesley Myers added 14 with four 3-pointers to lead Niagara (1-7). Ramone Snowden had nine points and three steals for the Purple Eagles, who shot just 19 of 53 from the field for 35.8 percent.
