CHICAGO (AP) -- Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson have returned to the Chicago Bulls lineup for their game against the Eastern Conference-leading Toronto Raptors on Monday night.

Rose missed the previous two games with an illness. Gibson was out with a right ankle injury. Rose has missed 10 games with various injuries and illness this season.

Rose is averaging 16.8 points per game while Gibson entered averaging 12.6 points and 7.2 rebounds a game.

Rose played in 11 straight games before getting sick.

"In Derrick's case, it was good where he was stringing some games together. Unfortunately, he got sick and now we have to hope he can pick up where he left off," said Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau.
