MIAMI (AP) -- Paul Millsap scored 23 points and Al Horford made his return to the court to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 109-103 victory over the Miami Heat in a preseason game on Tuesday night.

Chris Bosh led the Heat with 22 points and nine rebounds in 31 minutes. Dwyane Wade played 30 minutes and scored 16 points, including a 3-pointer while falling down to beat the first-half buzzer.

Horford, a two-time All-Star, played for the first time in nearly 10 months after suffering a torn pectoral muscle on Dec. 26, 2013, at Cleveland. Horford scored two points and grabbed a rebound in 11 minutes and did not play in the second half.

Miami (0-4), led by as many as 19 points in the first half, but was outscored 43-18 in the third quarter and trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half.
