NEW YORK (AP) -- Brook Lopez had 24 points and Thaddeus Young hit two free throws with 1.4 seconds left to give the Brooklyn Nets a 90-88 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night.

After a timeout, Young knocked away Thabo Sefolosha's inbounds pass to Al Horford as time expired.

Young finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Jarrett Jack and Shane Larkin each had 14.

Horford scored 18 points for the Hawks. Paul Millsap had 17 and Kyle Korver added 13.

Sefolosha's 3-pointer with 41 seconds left gave the Hawks an 88-86 lead before Jack tied it on a short jumper with 33 seconds left.

The score stayed tied until Young's clinching free throws.

This story has been corrected to show Brook Lopez had 24 points, not 26.
