COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Authorities say a man is recovering after he shot his left index finger while cleaning a gun at a Colorado Springs home.
Police say Joshua Crabtree was apparently drinking when he shot himself at a home near Prospect Lake at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday.
The Denver Post reports ( http://bit.ly/11Poy2V ) he was treated at a nearby hospital. Few other details have been released.
