TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Tampa police say they've made an arrest in the shooting death of a cab driver.
Police say 19-year-old Devante Bell was arrested Tuesday night in connection with the death of John Dooley. Bell is charged with first-degree murder and attempted armed robbery with a firearm.
Bell was being held without bail early Wednesday. Hillsborough County jail records did show whether he had an attorney.
According to police, two suspects called for a cab Sunday night and while en route to their destination, they shot and killed Dooley.
Police say records from the cab company are among the evidence that tie Bell to Dooley's death. Authorities were searching Wednesday for two additional suspects.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $3,000 for anonymous tips that lead to an arrest.
