Teen suspect shot, wounded by officer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- A teen suspect was wounded in a police-involved shooting at Jacksonville International Airport.

Officials say officers were investigating of a prior auto theft Wednesday afternoon when they tracked a suspect to the airport parking garage. The Florida Times-Union (http://bit.ly/17wADuZ ) reports that an officer fired at several assailants in a vehicle there.

A 17-year-old who was shot in the ankle and a 27-year-old were arrested. Authorities were still searching for at least one other suspect.

Parts of the garage and rental car area were cordoned off, but Jacksonville Aviation Authority officials say aircraft departures and landings weren't affected.
