TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- A twice-convicted rapist previously sentenced to three life terms now has a total of six.
A Hillsborough County judge sentenced 40-year-old Jerrod Pass on Tuesday to three additional life terms. He was convicted earlier this month of two counts of sexual battery and armed burglary of a dwelling for the rape of a 37-year-old mother of four in June 2007.
Pass was also convicted in June on the same charges for breaking into a 43-year-old woman's home in August 2007 and raping her at knifepoint. He was sentenced to three life terms in August for that conviction.
Authorities say Pass is responsible for at least seven sexual assaults committed around the University of South Florida between 2003 and his 2007 arrest.
