PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (AP) -- A small plane crashed in Charlotte County, but no one was injured.
The sheriff's office says the single-engine Cherokee crashed into a wooded and swampy area Friday. The plane hit the brush and then flipped around.
The pilot and passengers walked away from the crash, although Sheriff's Office spokesman Bob Carpenter says one of them had some type of seizure and needed to be taken to Fawcett Memorial Hospital.
Authorities say the crash was likely as a result of engine failure.
No other details were released.
