BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Farm market reports from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture:

LIVESTOCK: Weekly summary of Louisiana livestock markets held for the week ending Nov. 20.

CATTLE: 8,405. TRENDS: Compared to last week, slaughter cows sold mostly steady to 2 lower early in the week, mid-week prices trending steady to .50 higher. Slaughter bulls trading 1 lower early in the week, bulk of the sales firm to 1.50 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 3 lower early in the week, with steer and heifer prices trending mostly steady to 4 higher to close out the week.

CATTLE PRICES: Slaughter cows boners 35-45. Feeder steers Medium and Large 1-2 400-450 lbs 91-109, mid-week 102-111; 450-500 lbs 88-103, mid-week 97-109. Feeder heifers Medium and Large 1-2 400-450 lbs 77-90, mid-week 89-99; 500-550 lbs 70-80, mid-week 80-91. Cow-calf pairs Medium and Large 1-2 5-7 year old cows, 1,020-1,300 lbs with 150-300 lb calves, 700-930 per pair; 2-3 year old cows, 800-850 lbs with 100-300 lb calves, 675-710 per pair.

BROILERS: f.o.b. dock prices Nov. 20, 88 cents.

SWEET POTATOES: Nov. 20. 40 lb cartons Orange Types U.S. No. 1 17-18.50.

GRAIN: Nov. 20. Cash soybean prices paid to farmers by Louisiana country grain elevators by area: northeast delta unavailable; central delta unavailable; southwest area unavailable.

COTTON: Nov. 20. North Delta mid 31-35 inch 70.04; SLM 41-34 68.79; purchases 0. South Delta mid 70.04; SLM 68.79; purchases 0.
