ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The former chairman and CEO of Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc., says he plans to move ahead with "the next chapter" of his career after resigning from the Las Vegas-based casino company, but offered no specifics.
Daniel Lee stepped down from his post Monday, less than a week after St. Louis County member Steve Stenger raised concerns that Lee tried to pressure him to vote against another company's casino project.
Pinnacle owns Lumiere Place and The President in St. Louis, with plans to open a third area casino complex, River City, in the spring.
Lee says he's proud of the people at Pinnacle and worked for more than seven years to expand the casino developer.
