Police: 2 upstate New York men found dead in crashed car after trip to New Jersey auto show

WOODBURY, N.Y. (AP) -- State police say two upstate New York men have been found dead in their crashed car a day after they failed to return from an auto show in New Jersey.

Troopers say they were contacted Sunday and told 25-year-old Aaron Vays and 23-year-old Evan Finell of Monroe in Orange County hadn't been heard from for more than 24 hours since going to a car show Saturday at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford.

Police say the men stopped for gas and cigarettes early Sunday morning on Route 17 in Ramsey, New Jersey.

Troopers say police found the vehicle Monday afternoon down an embankment and under a tree in Woodbury, near the men's homes. Both men were dead.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
