NYPD: Man lying in Bronx street killed in hit-and-run
NEW YORK (AP) -- Authorities are searching for the driver who they say struck and killed a man who was lying in a New York City street.
It happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday in the Bronx. Police say a 35-year-old man was lying on the street when he was hit by a car whose driver didn't stay at the scene.
The man was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities didn't immediately identify the victim.
The crash remains under investigation.
