SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard says he will appoint a Sioux Falls magistrate judge to the Second Judicial Circuit.
Natalie Damgaard has served as a magistrate judge since 2011. Prior to that, she was an associate with the Janklow Law Firm.
Damgaard takes over for Judge Patricia Riepel, who retired last month.
Damgaard graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2002 with a degree in criminal justice. She graduated from the USD law school in 2006.
The Second Circuit includes Lincoln and Minnehaha counties.
