WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama and his family are having a Mexican meal away from the White House.

Obama, his wife, Michelle, and daughter Malia are having Saturday dinner at Oyamel. The popular restaurant in downtown Washington is owned by celebrity chef Jose Andres.

The president and first lady have eaten at Oyamel in the past.

Obama's daughter, Sasha, did not join her family's night out.

Earlier Saturday, the White House said Obama played 27 holes of golf at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Potomac, Maryland. He teed off at the private club with ESPN sportscaster Tony Kornheiser and a pair of White House aides.
