Ralcorp Holdings says Post Foods president resigns

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The president of Post Foods has resigned and will be succeeded on an interim basis by the co-chief executive of corporate parent Ralcorp Holdings Inc.

Stephen Van Tassel announced his resignation Monday as Post president to pursue other career interests. David P. Skarie, co-CEO and president of Ralcorp Holdings, will assume the duties as Post president.

Ralcorp produces Post branded cereals, a variety of store-brand foods, and frozen bakery products sold to in-store bakeries, restaurants and other foodservice customers.

Shares closed earlier up 98 cents at $55.76.
