Fog forecast early Monday

Some parts of Texas were expected to get fog early Monday but it should dissipate later in the day.

In Fort Worth, fog was expected before 9 a.m., otherwise skies should be mostly sunny, according to the National Weather Service.The high should be near 72 with gusts as high as 20 mph. The low at night should be around 47.

In Galveston, forecasters called for sunny skies a high near 70. The overnight low will be around 65 with a 20 percent chance of showers after midnight.

In Abilene, look for sunny skies with a high near 77 with gusts as high as 20 mph. At night, forecasters called for partly cloudy skies, with a low around 43. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

In Brownsville, forecasters called for early morning fog but skies should turn partly sunny later in the day with a high near 80. The forecast called for a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight with fog expected.
