Nashville Plant Keeps the Records SpinningTo some, vinyl records may seem old-fashioned and outdated, but business is booming at the United Record Pressing plant in Nashville, Tenn., where between 20,000 and 40,000 records are printed daily. The majority of titles are by rap and hip-hop artists, and about 60 perecent are sold to professional DJs and dance clubs.
