Annual Veterans Cemetery ceremony shared online

BOSCAWEN, N.H. (AP) — The traditional Memorial Day ceremony at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery has been canceled amid the coronavirus pandemic, and a video tribute will be shared on social media throughout the week instead.

The Department of Military Affairs and other organizations filmed a wreath-laying ceremony and speeches earlier this month. Cemetery staff also placed flags last week.

The cemetery remains open during daylight hours, and guests can leave potted plants at grave sites until May 31.
