NORTHFIELD, Vt. (AP) — Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident in Northfield.
A man was loading a vehicle onto a flatbed tow truck when he was hit by a vehicle on Vermont Route 12 at about 8:30 p.m. Monday, Northfield police said.
The vehicle did not stop. The man was injured and taken by ambulance to Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
The vehicle is described as a 2009-2015 black Volkswagen Tiguan with a missing passenger side mirror.
