LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Two women were shot to death in Lansing while a 6-year-old boy survived, police said Friday.
The shooting occurred Thursday. Two girls missing from the scene were found overnight.
The victims were identified as Michelle Roper, 46, and Alexis Brown, 24. Police said the victims and suspects knew each other, and the shooting was not a random act.
The boy was in good condition in a hospital, police said.
One man was in custody and cooperating with investigators while police searched for a second suspect.
