Vaccine ‘key’ to decreasing measles risk, Pitkin County official says
After Pueblo County reported a positive case of measles this week, Pitkin County confirmed that seeing exposure here is not out of the question. However, according to Pitkin County Public Health Epidemiologist Carly Senst, the risk to the Roaring Fork Valley has little to do with the positive case in Pueblo.

Aspen heads into prescribed burn with ‘abnormally dry conditions,’ National Weather Service says
The U.S. Forest Service is preparing for a 900-acre prescribed burn on the south face of Red Mountain in Aspen as soon as mid-April, depending on weather and fuel conditions.
