LORAIN, Ohio (AP) — Police in Ohio say a 16-year-old boy has been fatally shot after an argument that took place at a nearby house party.
Lorain police in northeast Ohio say officers responded about 4:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of a shooting and found the teenager with multiple gunshot wounds. A police news release says he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said they learned that a disagreement broke out as a party at a nearby house was ending. They say the disagreement appears to have led to the shooting.
The teen's identity was not released.
Police didn't immediately provide any other details of the shooting that took place in the city roughly 30 miles (48 kilometers) west of Cleveland.
