EBENSBURG, Pa. (AP) —
A woman apparently shot and killed her ex-husband before turning the weapon on herself in their home, authorities said.
Cambria County Coroner Jeffrey Lees said Lee Dill, 33, and Brittany Dill, 33, both died of single gunshot wounds to the head, and the woman's wound was self-inflicted.
The bodies of the two were reported shortly after 7 a.m. Monday in their Jackson Township home. There were no signs of a struggle and the man was apparently shot as he slept, Lees said.
He and the township's police chief, Phil Vaught, said there was no further threat to the public.
District Attorney Gregory Neugebauer said that the Dills were married in 2012 and that their divorce was finalized last year, but he has been told that they were still living together. A for-sale sign was posted in the front yard of the house.
Lee Dill was a volunteer firefighter with West Taylor Volunteer Fire Company.
