North Carolina man charged with murder in Tennessee

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (AP) — Police in Tennessee say a North Carolina man has been charged with killing a man after confronting him about some property.

News outlets report Morristown police said 38-year-old Jacob Thomas Marzullo of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, was in jail on a charge of second-degree murder.

Police were called to a hotel in Morristown on Monday evening and found 42-year-old Thomas Frederick Taylor Jr. dead at the scene.

Police said Marzullo traveled to Morristown to confront Taylor about theft of his property in North Carolina.
