U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley said during a town hall Sunday in Ashland that the country is not on the verge of but is "already in a constitutional crisis" because of the leadership of President Trump.
"We're really talking about a president who wants to undo the institutional structure of our Republic, and undo our leadership for democracy around the world, and cozy up to tyrants around the world," Merkley said. "And break law after law after law, because a law is only a suggestion."

A naked, disoriented 29-year-old man who said he had used alcohol and fentanyl the night before was arrested at 8:34 a.m. Saturday on a probation detainer behind a business on Southwest G Street.
It was his 15th arrest in the past year. Most recently, he was convicted of public indecency for his behavior while naked in a laundromat in January. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail and probation. Read More »
