SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A sheriff's office in Utah is investigating a potential murder-suicide that occurred in Tooele County.
The Tooele County Sheriff’s Office said a woman called dispatch Saturday and said her husband was shot. She immediately disconnected the phone.
Police officials said dispatchers attempted to contact the woman but were not successful.
Officers then responded to the residence associated with the phone number and discovered a man and woman dead.
Detectives said that early indications show that the woman shot her husband before then ending her own life, KTVX-TV reported.
The identities of the man and woman have not yet been disclosed.
