Man pleads guilty to being a felon in possession of gun

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire man has pleaded guilty in federal court to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Court documents said David Weekly, 23, of Concord, was in a vehicle stopped by police in Manchester in January.

Weekly admitted to an officer he had a gun in his waistband and a loaded extended 31-round magazine. The firearm was reported stolen in 2018.

Weekly is scheduled to be sentenced on March 26.

The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Manchester Police Department.
