MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — A committee of the Vermont Legislature is going to be hearing about how wetlands are regulated in the state.
On Oct. 23, the Legislative Study Committee on Wetlands will be holding a hearing in Bradford.
The committee was formed earlier this year. It will recommend to the full Legislature possible updates and clarifications to the state's wetlands regulations.
The committee is reviewing wetlands permitting standards, exemptions from wetlands permits, permit fees, and other issues related to wetlands regulation.
The Bradford meeting will be held from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Space on Main on Main Street.
