SAN DIEGO (AP) — Bryce Pope scored 15 points as UC San Diego beat UC Santa Barbara 61-46 on Thursday night.

Pope shot 6 for 15 (1 for 6 from 3-point range) for the Tritons (16-9, 10-3 Big West Conference). Aniwaniwa Tait-Jones scored 13 points and added 12 rebounds. Francis Nwaokorie also finished with 13 points, while adding 10 rebounds.

Yohan Traore finished with 14 points and six rebounds for the Gauchos (13-11, 6-8). Ajay Mitchell added eight points and two blocks for UCSB.
