The Los Angeles-based company said it had profit of 41 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs, came to 64 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 57 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $51.6 million in the period.

Crescent Capital BDC shares have increased almost 5% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 11% in the last 12 months.
