On a per-share basis, the Taipei, Taiwan-based company said it had profit of 33 cents.

The telecommunications company posted revenue of $1.94 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $1.19 billion, or $1.53 per share. Revenue was reported as $7.17 billion.
