The maker of scientific instrument and laboratory supplies posted revenue of $10.6 billion in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $10.64 billion.
Thermo Fisher expects full-year earnings in the range of $21.35 to $22.07 per share, with revenue in the range of $42.4 billion to $43.3 billion.
