Josephine County Commissioner Herman Baertschiger Jr. verified Monday the county has accepted an offer from River Valley Church to buy the Flying Lark for $9.5 million.

With less than two weeks left before the Southwest Conference district meet, the Grants Pass track and field team is clicking on all cylinders.
The latest evidence came on the big stage Saturday as GP easily swept the teams titles at the Rotary Invitational at Russ Werner Field and that domination was spurred by Callie Brandes and Jayden Jessee.

Three dogs were killed and two people were injured in an RV fire early Monday morning north of Grants Pass.
The fire was reported at 2:20 a.m. at 1090 Plumtree Lane, the scene of another RV fire last month.
Rural/Metro Fire said crews found an RV engulfed in flames that were spreading to an adjacent car.
"Two people with various burn injuries were located on the street and cared for by medics and firefighters," Rural/Metro said. "Both were transported."
