The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 38 cents per share.
The online gaming platform posted revenue of $919 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $1.13 billion, which also beat Street forecasts. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.02 billion.
For the current quarter ending in December, Roblox said it expects revenue in the range of $1.34 billion to $1.36 billion.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $4.34 billion to $4.37 billion.
