On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had a loss of $1.12.

The developer and licensor of plant traits for seed companies posted revenue of $545,000 in the period.

Cibus shares have declined 9% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $17.85, a climb of 10% in the last 12 months.
