The software developer posted revenue of $365.4 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $354.2 million.
For the current quarter ending in January, Elastic expects its per-share earnings to range from 46 cents to 48 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $367 million to $369 million for the fiscal third quarter.
Elastic expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.68 to $1.72 per share, with revenue ranging from $1.45 billion to $1.46 billion.
