The Lancaster, California-based company said it had net income of 15 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 19 cents per share.

The maker of software used in pharmaceutical research posted revenue of $18.5 million in the period.

Simulations Plus expects full-year earnings in the range of 54 cents to 56 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $69 million to $72 million.
