CHICAGO (AP) — U.S. men's coach Gregg Berhalter earned $2,291,136 in 2022, including $900,000 in bonuses for the Americans' qualifying for the World Cup and reaching the second round.

Berhalter had a base salary of $1,391,136, according to the U.S. Soccer Federation's tax filing for 2022 that it posted online Wednesday.

Berhalter’s contract expired at the end of 2022, and he was rehired the following June after being cleared by a law firm of not withholding information when initially hired by the USSF. The probe was sparked by the Reyna family informing the USSF of a three-decade-old domestic violence allegation involving Berhalter and the woman who later became his wife.

U.S. women’s coach Vlatko Andonovski had a base salary of $396,089 — 28% of Berhalter's — and earned $15,000 in bonuses. Andonovski quit last August after the Americans were eliminated in the second round of the Women's World Cup.

William Wilson, the chief executive officer through October 2022, earned $1,045,903. JT Batson, who started as CEO in September 2022, earned $174,695.

Earnie Stewart, who quit as sporting director in February 2023, earned $799,308.

Women's general manager Kate Markgraf earned $500,000 and Brian McBride, who quit as men's general manager in January 2023, earned $348,436. Markgraf also has the title of head of women’s football and her duties include interacting with FIFA, CONCACAF and national associations.

Wilson's predecessor, Dan Flynn, was listed at $72,496 plus $328,360 as other reportable compensation. Flynn also is listed as an ambassador.

Among players, Walker Zimmerman earned $536,792, Sean Johnson $536,002, Cristian Roldan $520,192, Paul Arriola $492,203 and DeAnde Yedlin $488,473
