DALLAS (AP) — DALLAS (AP) — Veritex Holdings Inc. (VBTX) on Tuesday reported second-quarter profit of $27.2 million.

The Dallas-based bank said it had earnings of 50 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for severance costs and non-recurring costs, were 52 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 53 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $201.8 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $106.8 million, which also did not meet Street forecasts.
